  • The Missaukee Rattler is a down-hole tool used to mechanically remove paraffin wax that has built up on the inside of an oil/gas well casing.

  • The Missaukee Rattler can be attached to the end of a standard tubing string and lowered into the casing until it meets the obstruction.  The tool is then rotated clockwise into the paraffin bridge until the desired amount is incorporated into the flights of the auger.  The tool is then pulled out of the well and the paraffin is scraped off the tool at surface and the process is repeated until the well bore is free of obstruction and the tubing can be ran back into the well without “stacking out”.  The auger flights are designed to be slightly less OD than the ID of the casing and are made of 1/4” thick steel.  The Missaukee Rattler has an OD of 4.5” and is 120” long.  The tool comes with a 2 3/8” EUE J-55 tubing coupler to connect to standard oil/gas tubing.

  • Both operators and contractors alike.

  • You can purchase the Missaukee Rattler from Mumford Oil and Gas Supply of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan.

  • Because it will finally remove that 10X’d hot-oiled paraffin that keeps mysteriously reappearing in your tubing hanging your rods and plugging up your pump.

  • We made a whole page explaining those, but the short and sweet version is that not only are you saving money on contractors and repairs, but you are also increasing your revenue because your well stays running longer. This 2-for-1 deal puts money back in YOUR pocket, not the contractors.
